The Transporters exhibit was the first of its kind to celebrate contemporary Salish art. iD2 chose to weave Salish definitions throughout the book using a locally designed aboriginal typeface. No one artist was given focus over others. A square format was chosen within standard paper sizes to reduce costs but still provide contemporary format. Time was allocated for sufficient artist input and the extreme attention to detail honoured each artist.
